North Georgia Electric Membership Corporation (NGEMC) is grateful for the patience of members during the holiday weekend.

TVA's transmission line serving multiple NGEMC substations in Gordon Co and the southern portion of Whitfield Co is offline.

The Tennessee Valley Association has called on all distributors of TVA power to begin rolling blackouts. The blackouts will impact members for 15 to 30 minutes before power is restored.

NGEMC will be closed in observation of Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Monday, Jan. 16.
