Downed transmission pole

UPDATE: TVA has notified NGEMC that the transmission outage is due to a broken transmission pole. NGEMC crews are working to isolate the span of offline transmission and back feed all substation circuits. By doing so, NGEMC customers will be restored while TVA transmission repairs are made. Again, we apologize for the disruption and appreciate your patience.

Dec. 26, 2022: TVA's transmission line serving multiple NGEMC substations in Gordon Co and the southern portion of Whitfield Co is offline. We are awaiting more information. We apologize for the disruption.

This is a unplanned outage and NOT part of the emergency rolling outages TVA ordered on Dec. 23 and 24. 

Outages
