Permanently disconnect and close your NGEMC account
To request to have your North Georgia EMC service disconnected, simply log in to your online account and select the "Disconnect Service" option under the "Services" menu. Please note, we require a minimum 24 hours notice to disconnect service.
Move your existing service to a new address
If you are moving to a new location also on NGEMC lines, you will need to complete a New Service application. As a part of the application, you will be asked if you have ever had service with NGEMC before. Please select "Yes" and enter your current account number.
Temporarily disconnect service to complete electrical work or repairs
If you need to disconnect your electrical service for any kind of project or repairs, please contact our office directly to schedule the disconnection and again when the work is completed to reconnect.
Please note: you will need to have the completed changes or repairs inspected before your service is reconnected.
