Customers may now choose to defer a portion of their power bill payment for up to 14 days using the automated phone system and online Member Service Portal, 24/7. The process is quick, confidential, and available with no questions asked.
For the maximum payment extension, make the billing arrangement the day before the disconnect date. Pay arrangements are not available on or after the disconnect date.
Once the arrangement is made, customers have 24 hours to make the first payment which is 1/3 of the past due amount. Making an arrangement the day before the disconnect date provides two additional weeks to pay the remainder of the bill.
Please Note: automated arrangements are now the only way to make a payment arrangement with North Georgia EMC.
The payment extension steps are easier than ever and available 24/7.
