NGEMC has received several reports of scam callers active in the area this morning. In one instance, the caller played a recording which said, "your power will be interrupted due to nonpayment. If this is incorrect, press 1.” Several calls were made to non-NGEMC members on Friday morning, several reported that the scammers had "spoofed" NGEMC's name and phone number in the caller ID.
To prevent the spread of COVID-19 NGEMC’s lobbies are closed. As of Nov. 2, our drive-thru hours are now 7:30 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday (8:00 am to 5:00 pm in Trion).
