NOON UPDATE: Crews are in the field working to safely restore power as quickly as possible to the last 40 members who remain without power in 11 separate outage events.
10:10 AM Update: 166 members remain without power in 23 separate outages. NGEMC crews remain in the field working to restore all power as quickly as possible.
7:15 AM Update: 240 members remain without power in 33 separate outages. Crews remain in the field working to restore power to these numerous, widespread outages.
4:15 AM Update: 510 members remain without power in 49 separate outage events. Crews remain in the field and will continue working around the clock until all power is restored.
12:00 AM Update: 3,151 members remain without power in 79 separate outage events. Crews remain in the field and will work around the clock until all power is restored. The next update to this page will be posted at 4:15 a.m.
Following Friday evening’s storms, more than 4,600 NGEMC members were left without power in approximately 90 separate outage events. Crews are in the field working to assess and repair the damage on an outage-by-outage basis.
Based on current outage numbers, our operations team is expecting the full restoration effort to last throughout the night and into Saturday.
Due to the widespread nature of the storm damage, NGEMC cannot give individual outage restoration estimates at this time. For households with members who rely on electricity for vital medical equipment, we strongly encourage that you have a plan in place for relocating to a facility with power
