NGEMC's 2020-21 art contest is now open to students in kindergarten through 5th grade.

Theme

"Power Through the Pandemic” Show us what you did during the pandemic.  

Submission Deadline

December 11, 2020

Submit artwork online -or- mail artwork to the address below. (online submissions preferred).

Requirements

Participating schools should be located within NGEMC's seven-county service area: Catoosa, Chattooga, Floyd, Gordon, Murray, Walker and Whitfield counties. There are no restrictions on art medium or size (digital art is also allowed). However, all entries must have the following information included for each individual art piece in order to qualify. 

  • Student name
  • Grade level
  • School name
  • Teacher name
  • Teacher contact information

Awards and Prizes

First and second-Place winners will be selected in two separate age divisions, kindergarten-2nd grade and 3rd-5th grade. Winning art entries will be featured in the March GEORGIA Magazine. The teacher of each first-place entry will receive $200 to be used for classroom supplies, and the students with first-place entries will receive a $50 gift card.
