NGEMC 2021 Art Contest Winners Announced

The theme for this year's contest was "Power Through the Pandemic."

Each year, NGEMC holds an annual art contest open to kindergarten through fifth grade students in Catoosa, Chattooga, Floyd, Gordon, Murray, Walker and Whitfield. The theme for this year’s contest was “Power Through the Pandemic." Students were asked to illustrate what they have done during the COVID-19 pandemic. We received many impressive entries, and were fascinated to see the lives of each artist shining through their drawings. 

Drawings were broken into two categories for judging: Grades K-2 and 3-5. We are happy to announce the following winners of the 2021 contest:

Kindergarten-2nd Grade

k-1 1st Place Brookelyn Bowen Cohutta Elm. Mrs. Brown.jpgFirst place: Brookelyn Bowen, Cohutta Elementary School second-grader, Mrs. Brown's class.

3rd-5th Grade
